About Observations and Reflections
Intruder
Most of my work is a situational observation or is a response to something happening in my own life.
Quite literally, my neighbors cut down the Laurel hedge that separated our backyards and suddenly, quite imposingly, their very presence became too close for comfort.
Specimen
To my surprise, a bird at my feeder changed course and flew into my living room window. Stunned, it fell to the sidewalk and died.
Shock and Awe
As an extension of my print, Specimen, I recalled the Kent Sate shooting and chose to combine imagery, with permission from the photographer, to create a parallel statement.
